Some of My Talks

01.

Major Key Alert (The Black Millennial Experience)

My personal experiences have given me a unique perspective on being Black in today’s society, but there is an added layer of being a Black millennial navigating a workplace that is unsure how to meet our needs. I share my journey and give tangible tips (major keys) to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness, culture, and history and to promote understanding and acceptance of the Black experience.

02.

I Am More than Enough: (Motivating Black Women)

As a Black woman, I understand the challenges and barriers we face in both personal and professional settings. I motivate and inspire Black women to believe in themselves, set goals, and pursue their dreams, despite the obstacles they may encounter.

03.

When A Seat at the Table Ain't Enough (DEIB)

Diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords but critical components of any successful organization. While many may educate and empower individuals and organizations to embrace diversity and create an inclusive culture that fosters innovation, growth, and success—I also focus on the element of Belonging (something many are not getting right.)

04.

From Trauma to Triumph(Overcoming Adversity)

Life is full of challenges, but how we respond to those challenges defines us. I share my personal story of overcoming adversity—one of overcoming homelessness, sexual assault, and domestic violence—to inspire others to rise above their own challenges and achieve their goals.

My approach is tailored to each organization I work with. I believe in creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and learn. I use a combination of storytelling, humor, and interactive exercises to engage my audience and create a memorable and impactful experience.
